Adrian College men’s basketball coach Mark White gets two-year extension

Adrian had a seven-win improvement this winter and placed third in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association standings in White’s debut season. The third-place showing was the best finish in MIAA play for the Bulldogs since the 1987-88 season.

Hope women’s basketball team survives ‘grind’ to go 16-0 in MIAA play

Forward Carrie Snikkers helped the hottest team in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association continue its winning ways.

Snikkers scored a game-high 23 points and 12 rebounds and came up with several key plays down the stretch to help the No. 4-ranked Hope College women’s basketball team edge Adrian 58-56 in Saturday’s regular-season finale at the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center. Continue reading

New-look Adrian College men’s basketball team soaring in MIAA play

It may be the early stages of a new era for the Adrian College men’s basketball program, but the new-look Bulldogs have made several significant accomplishments under first-year coach Mark White this season.

The latest sign of progress occurred Wednesday night when Adrian recorded a 73-68 victory over MIAA co-leader Hope in front of a crowd of 730 at the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center.
